The art of motherhood is sacrificial. You give your heart to another and relinquish the title of being the center of your own universe. Change is an inevitable force of nature you just cant avoid. Your body, mind, and walk of life all begin to change at this very moment. There is no I, ONLY he or she exist in your vocabulary. You go through life thinking of only them.
Your dreams begin to fade and your goals are fewer and fewer as days pass you by. There has been a transfer of energy. You put your all into this one little person. Your goal is to no longer succeed but to survive the obstacles of life.
There are moments in life where you wake up and say why me god? Why me? Why me the single mother? why me the struggling student? why me the writer? why me the stylist? why me the fatherless daughter or motherless child? why me? I questioned the path God gave me as I struggled to accept the gifts God had given to me.
My journey through life begins NOW!!! I can barely remember life before motherhood. I have accepted my roles of life and the order in which God gives them. I am a mother, daughter, sister, friend, mentor, writer, hair stylist, and momager.
I am 25 and my heart belongs to Aiden. Aiden, a bright and beautiful 4 year old whom I fall in love with daily. I want to welcome you to Life with Aiden.
